Chuck Smith is Chairman and CEO of Payment Processing, Inc., recipients of a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 award for Silicon Valley. He has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry and helped pioneer integrated payment processing through his firm’s alliances with software developers.

Practicing his firm belief in the balance of work, family and community, Chuck spends his free time surfing off the coast of Carlsbad with his kids, and working to inspire other young people to reach their full potential. In addition to being on the board of Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad, he serves on the Advisory Board for Project Echo. Chuck, his wife, Maryanne, and their three children live in Carlsbad.
