Viola first became involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad as a volunteer on past auction committees.  She joined the Board of Directors in July 2006 and believes very strongly in the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad, and wanted to give back to the community.  Viola has past experience with the Board of Directors for the Gaslamp Historical Foundation, City of Hope auction committees and Tri City Christian auction committee.

Viola lives in Carlsbad with her husband Mike, and son, Brandon. Her grown daughter Darcy lives just a few blocks away. Mike is also donating a huge chunk of his time and talent by serving as General Contractor for our new Clubhouse, which will be located in the Bressi Ranch area of Carlsbad.
