Alyssa Mercier joined Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad's Board of Directors in March 2000. Alyssa has been invaluable in helping to promote the Club via newspaper advertising, sponsorships, and writing articles. She also participates on the Boys & Girls Clubs' Resource Development Committee and Dinner Auction Committee, which she chaired in 2003 and 2005.

Alyssa works as Page Design Manager with the North County Times. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Joe & Mary Mottino YMCA of Oceanside.

Alyssa was born and raised in Las Vegas. She now lives in Oceanside with her two young sons, Caleb and Jacob.
