Nationwide Developer Invests in Carlsbad's Future

$100,000 donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad

(June 28, 2005 – Carlsbad, CA)  Real estate developer John Tworoger is investing $100,000 in the youth of Carlsbad.  The principal and owner of Aspen Properties joins a growing list of investors helping the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad expand.

“I know a good deal when I see one, and this is an opportunity I simply could not and would not pass up,” said Tworoger.  The real estate developer added, “In every deal I review, I look at profit potential.  Investing with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad means not only a guaranteed profit for these kids and this community, but also a profit that will multiply infinitely as the years go by.”

Tworoger’s donation will help fund the construction of the Boys & Girls Club’s new state-of-the-art Clubhouse.  This 18,000 square foot building will be the Club’s new headquarters and a supplement to the original Village Branch built back in 1953.  the new Clubhouse will be in the Bressi Ranch Development located southeast of the El Camino Real and Palomar Airport Road intersection.  It will replace a tiny modular space that presently serves as the Club’s La Costa branch.  As envisioned by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad, the new facility will serve 200 youth on a daily basis and will include:  a gymnasium, game room, teen center, technology center, learning center, as well as art, music, and dance rooms.
