Vigilucci’s World Beach Bocce Ball Championship XXVI to be held July 15

(Carlsbad, CA – June 20, 2006) Produced by North County Athletic Association, Vigilucci’s World Beach Bocce Ball Championship XXVI will be held on Saturday, July 15, at 7:30 am at San Dieguito River Mouth in Del Mar (aka “Dog Beach”). The day will be jam-packed with food, spirits, sun, and of course, great bocce ball action. Proceeds benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad.

Mens, womens and mixed divisions are offered for the seasoned player and novice alike. The field is limited to the first 300 teams, so pre-registering is highly recommended. Last year, over 1,000 people gathered throughout the day to enjoy the action and festivities. The success of the event has brought the total amount raised for Boys & Girls Clubs to over $325,000.
