RUNNERS RAISE MONEY FOR BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF CARLSBAD
(October 4, 2005, Carlsbad, CA) -- Patrick Casinelli and Mark Gordon completed the Imogene Pass Run, a physically challenging 17.1 mile race between the towns of Ouray and Telluride, Colorado, by way of 13,120-foot Imogene Pass. The two friends began participating in the race five years ago as a tribute to Patrick’s father, Mike Casinelli. For the third year, they were joined by friends June and Dave Steffy, and Colleen Decker. In addition to honoring Patrick’s father, the runners solicit sponsors, and turn over all donations to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad. Over the past five years, this industrious group of runners has raised over $20,000 for the Boys & Girls Club.
