Lennar’s Charitable Holiday Activities Results
in $10,000 Check to Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad

(Carlsbad, CA – August 3, 2006)  Last December, more than 150 members of Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad enjoyed an afternoon of fun, games, presents, and holiday spirit thanks to the generosity of volunteers from Lennar.   As a result of this charitable holiday event, Lennar’s Carlsbad office received national corporate recognition in the form of a $10,000 check made payable to Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad for their outstanding volunteer efforts.

“Lennar’s sponsorship and countless volunteer hours to organize and share their holiday spirit with our members was an extraordinary contribution,” stated Ron Sipiora, Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad’s Chief Professional Officer.  “It was a fantastic surprise to receive an additional $10,000 from Lennar’s national headquarters.  The check is a testament to Lennar’s belief in Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad, and will be used for operating support.
