National Service to Youth Awards

(May 3, 2006 – Carlsbad, CA)  Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad recognized National Service to Youth Awards at its 6th Annual Super Star Recognition Dinner on January 26, 2006, which honored the Boys & Girls Clubs’ generous community and business leaders, dedicated volunteers, an active board of directors, and outstanding youth.

This award is proudly given to board volunteers and staff who have rendered long and devoted service (five years or more) in the Boys & Girls Club Movement.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad is pleased to name its National Service Recognition Award recipients, as follows: 

Five Years of Service awards given to Javier Covarrubias, Village Branch Athletic Director; Denise Lamb, La Costa Branch Unit Director; Alyssa Mercier, Board Member; Jim Morrison, Board Member; and Kelly Morrison Pop, Director of Development.

A Ten Years of Service award was given to Jose Miranda, Village Branch Youth Development Professional.

A Fifteen Years of Service award given to Ron Sipiora, Chief Professional Officer.
