Tony Garcia – Village Branch

Robin and Dan Cochran – La Costa Branch

(April 6, 2006 – Carlsbad, CA)  Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad recognized Tony Garcia and Robin and Dan Cochran as Parents of the Year at its 6th Annual Super Star Recognition Dinner on January 26, 2006, which honored the Boys & Girls Clubs’ generous community and business leaders, dedicated volunteers, an active board of directors, and outstanding youth.

Tony Garcia’s positive attitude is infectious. He is an avid supporter of the Village Branch, and offers help on an almost weekly basis.  In fact, the Club has dubbed him their “Unofficial Handyman.”  Tony is consistently concerned about the Club, its members, and its staff, and we appreciate all of his efforts on our behalf.

Robin and Dan Cochran are supportive of all of the La Costa Branch’s programs. Their two daughters have been members the past five years, and the Cochrans make sure that the girls get involved in as many activities as possible.  They are always willing to help out with Club parties, events, and donations.
