Rotary Clubs Donate $7,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad

Ken Alfrey, a member of the Rotary Club of Carlsbad and chairman of the 2005 Rotary Oktoberfest, presents a $7,000 check to Ron Sipiora, the executive director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad. A portion of the proceeds from the annual fundraisiing event also goes to the Women's Resource Center. Oktoberfest is a joint endeavor between the Rotary Club of Carlsbad and the Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Club.
