Santa and the Grinch Arrive In Style At Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad

(Carlsbad, CA -- December 20, 2007) Arriving in a fire truck complete with blaring sirens and flashing lights, Santa Claus and the Grinch traveled throughdowntown Carlsbad recently to reach their ultimate destination -- the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad and a crowd of excited children. Aided by volunteers from Lennar and the Carlsbad Fire Department, youngsters participated in an afternoon of fun, games, food, crafts and of course, presents. Throughout the last month, community individuals and businesses were busy working as "elves" collecting toys to ensure each member received an age-appropriate gift. More than 200 presents were collected, thanks to the diligence of Black Box Distribution, Cabrillo Power I LLC, California Bank & Trust, Carlsbad Premium Outlets, Eagle Nation, Interior Specialists, Inc., Lennar, McMillin Realty, Morrow Development, North County Times, Palomar Investigative Group, Prescription Solutions, Spectrum Fine Jewelry, Sunset Coast Capital, Temecula Valley Bank, USAopoly, as well as individuals Beth Browning, Robyn Hill, Ruby Mann and Lori Saar.
