Ted Owen Chosen as Honorary Chairman for Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad Annual Dinner Auction

(July 5, 2005 -- Carlsbad, CA)  Ted Owen, President and CEO of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, has been named the honorary chairman of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad Annual Dinner Auction “Here’s Lookin’ at You, Kid.”

Owen was named President and CEO of the Carlsbad Chamber in April 2004 and brings with him years of experience and knowledge.  A long time resident of North County and the former president and publisher of the San Diego Business Journal, Owen continually applies his business expertise to the community he loves.  He also serves as a member of several other business organizations throughout San Diego.
