INVITROGEN AND MILLENNIUM DINING INC. SPONSOR THANKSGIVING FEAST FOR BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF CARLSBAD MEMBERS

(November 30, 2006 – Carlsbad, CA)  Over 100 members of the Village and La Costa Branches of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast thanks to the sponsorship support of Invitrogen and Millennium Dining, Inc.  A full morning’s activities of Thanksgiving-themed artwork and games culminated with a lunchtime buffet of traditional Thanksgiving treats.  In the afternoon, members enjoyed a flag football match that pitted the two branches against each other.  “My mom and I never celebrate Thanksgiving because it’s just us,” said Eric Gonzalez, age 11.  “Now I want to celebrate it every year because people get together and have fun!”
